Byron Matthews leads Miller Heiman Group’s commitment to championing customer-management excellence throughout the customer life cycle and across the enterprise. His dedication to placing the customer at the core of everything gives Miller Heiman Group its expanded, holistic approach for developing, managing and sustaining long-term customer relationships. Before joining the organization, he served as Senior Vice President of Sales at Aflac, where he led more than 30,000 sales professionals across multiple channels. He also spent more than five years at Mercer as Global Sales Performance Business Practice Leader, where he grew revenue more than 40%.

Richard Hilton has a track record of proven success that drives meaningful growth in the sales performance industry. He has a wealth of rich, complex sales and sales leadership experience running people-oriented businesses within the professional services area. Hilton’s passion for generating results through innovative products and delivery methods, coupled with his consultancy-led approach, will enable customers to drive revenue and create efficiencies in their sales and service functions. Hilton has worked for some of the biggest brands in the industry, including ADP, Mercer and Barclays. Most recently, he served as sales director for Capita Employee Benefits, where he led a team who introduced powerful, technology-based solutions to the market.

Monika Götzmann is an innovative international marketing professional who has a track record of delivering high performance while successfully launching new brands and products. She consistently develops and implements high-impact marketing strategies that lead to increased consumer engagement and higher revenues. Culturally savvy and multilingual, with fluency in English and German, Monika Götzmann has years of international experience in B2B marketing on behalf of dynamic, world-class enterprises. She oversees the Miller Heiman Group’s marketing team in EMEA, a position she has held since 2014. Prior to joining the Miller Heiman Group, Monika Götzmann led marketing teams at several global companies, including Texas Instruments, Connexion by Boeing and EXASOL AG. Monika Götzmann earned an MBA in Business Administration from The Open University.

Tamara’s expertise as an analyst for the Research Institute is based on more than twenty years of experience in sales, service and delivery in different roles and industries. She started her professional career in 1992 with an own business, selling and implementing software solutions for the automotive industry. She continued her career in different consulting and sales roles, before she joined T-Systems in 2005, where she was responsible for corporate strategy implementation. She was quickly back in sales, leading a business development team focused on utilities, before she started to develop sales enablement from a program to a strategic discipline. Before joining MHI Research Institute in January 2014, she was responsible for T-Systems’ global sales force enablement and transformation team.

Mike Hawthorne has worked in the organisational change and performance improvement space for more than 20 years. During this time he has been a salesperson, sales leader, consultant, change leader and a business owner. A practitioner, rather than a theorist, he brings practical experience to ensure change happens and organisations move forward. Currently he is Vice President of Client Success for the EMEA region of Miller Heiman Group where his focus is on ensuring clients secure the change they need and the results they want.
